Wajid Ali Chaudhry elected new Secretary General of Pakistan Badminton Federation

The Executive Committee of PBF met at Lahore on 26^th August, 2015. Executive Committee members from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab and Pakistan Badminton Technical Officials Association attended the meeting.

Earlier Mr. Adil Abdullah Khan Rokhri expressed his desire to be relieved of his duties as Secretary General because of his preoccupation with his business and political affairs.

The executive committee unanimously elected Adil Abdullah Rokhri as Chairman of executive committee and Wajid Ali Chaudhary as secretary general of Pakistan Badminton Federation.

Mr. Adil Abdullah Khan Rokhri assured his full support. Minutes of last executive committee meeting were approved unanimously. Calendar of activities was also approved. It is proposed to send Pakistan Team to Bahrain to participate in two tournaments and to play friendly matches with Bahrain Players.

Our two players participated in Asia Junior Badminton Championships held in Bangkok from 28^thJune to 5^th July, 2015. Muqeet won two rounds there. Miss. Mahoor Shahzad is in Turkey to participate in open Tournament.

Junior Asia Badminton Championships U-17 & U-15 will be held at Indonesia in October, 2015. Bangladesh International Tournament will be held in December, 2015. Tata International Challenge will be held in Delhi in December, 2015. We intend to send four male and two ladies to participate. An all Pakistan Ranking Tournament will be held in November, 2015.
