Win against Zimbabwe must for team’s confidence building: Former cricketers

Islamabad, 27 Feb : Former test cricketers said the Pakistan vs
Zimbabwe match on coming Sunday is very important for the Pakistan and this
match is must-win for restoration of confidence.


Talking to media here on Friday, former test cricketer Sadiq Muhammad said
that Pakistan vs Zimbabwe match on Sunday is very important for Pakistan so
our side will have to show responsible play. By winning the toss, Pakistan
should opt for batting and set about 300 plus target.


Answering a question, he said the batting and bowling department need some
changes and Yesir Shah should be given a chance. Pakistan must be win the
match against Zimbabwe because it will boost the confidence, he added.



Former test cricketer Tousif Ahmed while sharing his views said Pakistan vs
Zimbabwe match is “do or die” matter for Pakistan.


He said time is very curial for Pakistan team and great responsibility
rests on them. Answering a question, he said that if our team win the toss,
Pakistan should opt for bowling.


Tousif said that Pakistan cricket team needs to win all the remaining
matches and victory against Zimbabwe will boost the team’s moral. He
suggested five bowlers to be utilized and Yasir shah should be given a
chance for bowling and Sarfaraz too be given a chance for batting.


The 22nd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is being played on Sunday.
This will be  third match of Pakistan in the World Cup. The match will be
played at Gabba, Brisbane at 8:30 am PST.
