No surpirses

In today's second quarterfinal all went as expected. India batted first. Set a large a target and Bangladesh could not do it.

The only surprise was that Bangladesh just succumbed under the pressure. I was expecting that they would put up some fight. But perhaps, it was inexperience, which stopped Bangladesh from pushing India further into pressure, when during the Indian innings they lost three quick wickets.

But when it came to batting, Bangladesh started off with a wrong approach and soon it was all over.

All out for 193 in 45 overs says it all.

Now we are very close to the most interesting game, which will start in less than 24 hours from now. Yes. I am talking about Australia VS Pakistan match in Adelaide. As before I am not going to try to analyze what might happen tomorrow. But I believe in Pakistan - India semi final. So despite all my liking of the Australian team, I don't see them winning tomorrow.
